    As a gym manager, I am working hard to have the best fitness and wellness space in the local area, available to anyone wanting to better themselves. I always want to get both positive or constructive feedback from members to better this space, because The Toorak Club is your space too.

  • My style of training involves prescribing you an evidence-based training program which is tailor made to fit you. I have a large library of exercise variations on hand, meaning I can adjust your exercise prescription to suit fluctuations in your motivation or work around injuries.

    I enjoy sharing my knowledge of exercise and rehabilitation to ultimately foster lifelong habits and self efficacy in my personal training clients.

    If you are covered by BUPA or Medibank health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates for my personal training services.

  • I like to make training fun and something you look forward to each week! Creating a program that is both beneficial and also enjoyable. I like to add in some goals that are focused around something you've always wanted to be able to do, weather that's a pull up or the splits! 

    I have a lot of experience in body weight / calisthenics training and also in mobility and flexibility. I have a background in gymnastics and ballet. I believe I have a welcoming and encouraging attitude and will always make you feel comfortable in the gym. I train clients safely, building up their strengtg through different conditioning exercises, to lower the risk of injury. I'm always focused on proper technique to train you as safely and effectively as possible. 

    Helping people reach their strength goals and also helping clients get rid of back and neck issues through core and glute strengthening.

RAE CONNELL

  • As a Fitness coach i like to take a holistic approach to health and fitness.

    I believe in creating healthier habits to create a balanced lifestyle. It’s important to make exercise sessions enjoyable and accessible to everyone, no matter what level or capability.

    Everyone is an individual and they need to feel comfortable.

    My specialties include Yoga, Pilates, Group Training, Personal and Group Training for Older Adults.

    Qualifications

    Certificate IV in Fitness

    Hiit , TRX , Functional Training, Weight Loss, Vinyasa Yoga, Somatic Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pilates Mat and Reformer.


  • Training Philosophy: Our bodies don’t lie. My approach whether it is exercise or food I like to take an intuitive approach and listen from within. A well balanced approach of nutrition, exercise and rest is key to good health.

    Training Style: My passion is to make training fun while enhancing your physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing. My primary focus and priority is to build healthier and better bodies that enhance your confidence and everyday body function. I also strive for maximum results by working closely with my client to achieve their goals whether that be strength, mobility, weight loss etc.

    My qualifications in Health Science allow me to assist both men and women with their physiology but more specifically with women and their training with in depth knowledge on how to optimise performance throughout all stages in life. This includes women who are experiencing menopause, pregnant, post parting, menopause or just want to learn how to train smartly around their cycles.

    Biggest achievements as a PT:

    Assisted a gentleman named Tom lose 30 kilos in 6 months and build muscle through monitoring a healthy diet plan and exercise every week for that period/duration. Reached goal and assisted with an ongoing realistic plan to maintain results.

    Helped Tina a mid age lady cope with menopause by equipping her with the right exercise for her body and changing her normal routine that she had from her early 30s. She noticed a difference with muscle growth, weight loss and more tone without putting the ongoing pressure on her joints.
